I have received chiropractic care my whole life, growing up with my father as a chiropractor and have been influenced by chiropractic philosophy from a young age. I studied at RMIT in Melbourne where I completed my Masters in Clinical Chiropractic in June 2014. I have also attended the Applied Kinesiology seminars. I have a strong interest in Applied Kinesiology, nutrition and Neuro Emotional technique.
In 2016 I was introduced to The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy (R) and I knew from my first treatment I had to learn this technique for myself and offer it to my clients. I subsequently completed my training in August 2016 and I am excited to offer this incredibly powerful therapy.
My aim is to provide a safe, nurturing space for healing. Using both of these therapies to achieve the best possible healing outcomes for my patients.
Arvigo Maya Abdominal Therapy
Arvigo Therapy is an external, non-invasive abdominal massage for all women from the onset of menstruation. It can help to reposition the uterus and internal organs that may have shifted, therefore increasing blood flow, lymph and nerve connections. It addresses the position and health of the pelvic and abdominal organs and can help restore homeostasis, the natural balance of the body.
Health issues such as fertility concerns, endometriosis, irregular and painful menstrual cycles, menopause, pelvic floor concerns, digestion issues, irritable bowel syndrome, indigestion, constipation, old adhesions and scar tissue from invasive treatments such as fibroid tumours, miscarriage and caesarian delivery may be minimised when addressed by uterine massage.
Ligaments and muscles can weaken and loosen, causing the uterus to fall forward, downward, backward or to either side. A uterus in any of these positions is called a tilted or prolapsed uterus. Women can have a list of physical and emotional symptoms that can be addressed and possibly prevented with this therapy.
When reproductive organs shift, they can constrict arterial and venous blood flow, lymph and chi in the body. Just a little extra weight sitting on blood and lymph vessels may cause disruption throughout the different systems. By shifting the uterus back into place the natural balance of the body is restored in the pelvic and surrounding organs.
Toxins are flushed and nutrients that help tone tissue and balance hormones are restored to normal order. Receiving the Arvigo Techniques of Mayan Abdominal Therapy, the upper abdomen is addressed with firm massage to loosen tight muscles around the stomach and arteries, which feed the digestive and eliminative organs with vital blood supply. Massage to the back and gentle corrections to the sacrum and coccyx are applied, that generally do not get addressed in standard massage treatments.

Follow up visits $150 Please allow 60 mins for the session.
*This treatment is not recommended during menstruation, where an IUD is present, immediately after abdominal surgery, or where an active infection or cancer is present in the pelvic region.
